Miracle Child...

Miracle Child,
Born with the head open and half of your brain out…
Doctors gave you a day to live…A week to live… A month to live…
Five years later, you're still here…
Now your vision is only 6 inches far on one eye and 13 inches in the other eye…
You will never live a normal life……
Services were denied to you, but your family never gave up…
Now you’re in school, you have friends and teachers that love you…
Your friends have different disabilities, but your friends and you always find a way to communicate with each other…
You are a precious little angel just like the rest of your friends.

Miracle Child,
Born at 8 month, you were not bigger than an adult's hand.
Your mom had a rough time being a mother and refuses to give you all the love you need.
God is watching over you and bless you with a grandmother that loves you very much.
Now you’re 9 years old and your life is better.

Miracle Child,
Born with autism inside a dysfunctional family.
Your mother always demands services for you, but where is she when you need her.
You don’t eat healthy at home.
You also have speech delay and can only communicate with us with pictures (PECS).
Thnaks to God you're still alive, now you're a happy and loving child.

Miracle children who are bless with well trained teachers that care for their education and love them very much.

God has blessed me by giving me the opportunity to work with these little angels. I love what I do and can not see my self anywhere else. I now can say that I have Change Many Lives.

Another chance to live.

Miracle child

Falling in Love...

When you're working with special needs kids your feelings and emotions are your weaknesses. Is tough not to fall in love with them, even the most challenging kid can be your favorite. We're not supposed to have favorite though. Is amazing how loving and respectful this kids are and how fast your life can and will change in a second full with joy.

In my morning assignment there's a little girl that has down syndrome. She does not speak in full sentences but she knows a few words, she's learning sign language too. One of her favorite word is " NO", she says no to everything even when she wants something. At the same time is easy to communicate with her, at least for me it is. Just to see the smile on her face every morning makes my day. Can you tell she's one of my favorite little angels :)

Down Syndrome is a chromosomal disorder caused by the presence of all or part of an extra 21st chromosome. Down Syndrome also called Trisomy 21, is a condition in which extra genetic material causes delays in the way a child develops, both mentally and physically. It affects about 1 in 800 babies.
